i rather like your technique and your shading on the rocks is excellent (i personally could never get the hang of pastels). but i have just an odd question of your mythology... pheonix never had babies... pheonix would merely travel and burnout and from its ashes it would be reborn in its own terrible yet glorious circle of life.
